Our A6 laser breaks down pigment particles, which are then naturally cleared by your body over several weeks. Best for darker pigments and well-defined work.

The most common things first-time cosmetic tattoo clients ask us before booking.

Our Cosmetic Tattooist tier is performed by a fully certified, in-house trained cosmetic tattoo artist. Excellent quality, considered work — at a more accessible price point.

Our Master Artist tier is reserved for Dr Heidi Karimi herself. With a PhD, decade-plus of training, certifications from BROW DADDY, ZAR, and Branko Babic, and recognition in the international PMU community — this is the highest-tier work the studio offers. Particularly relevant for delicate areas, corrections, or those simply wanting the most considered artist available.

Most cosmetic tattoo lasts 1 – 3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and the technique used. Some clients see results last longer; some need a refresh sooner.

An annual touch-up is recommended to maintain colour and shape. We provide full pricing for touch-ups based on time since your last appointment.

We use a topical anaesthetic before and during every cosmetic tattoo treatment. Most clients describe the sensation as mild pressure or scratching, not pain. Lips can be the most sensitive area; brows and eyeliner are typically very comfortable.

Many clients are surprised at how relaxing the appointment is. Some fall asleep.

Initial healing takes 7 – 10 days. During this time, the colour will appear more vivid than the final result, then gradually soften and lighten as the surface skin heals over.

Final results settle over 4 – 6 weeks. We always schedule a touch-up at 6 – 8 weeks after the initial session to perfect colour retention and finalise the design.

Yes — this is one of our most common services. We offer three professional removal techniques: laser, saline, and plasma fibroblast. The right method depends on the type, depth, and colour of the work to be removed.

Multiple sessions are usually required, and we always start with a consultation to assess the situation and recommend the right pathway. Many clients use removal as a first step before having new cosmetic tattoo work done.

Cosmetic tattoo is not suitable if you are: pregnant or breastfeeding, undergoing chemotherapy, taking blood thinners, prone to keloid scarring, have active skin conditions in the treatment area, or have certain autoimmune conditions.

We screen carefully during consultation. If you're unsure, please get in touch for a chat — we'll always be honest if it's not the right time.

Yes. We'll send you detailed pre-appointment instructions with your booking confirmation. In general:

For 1 week before: avoid retinol/vitamin A products in the treatment area, avoid waxing or chemical peels in the area.

For 24 hours before: no alcohol, no caffeine on the day, no blood-thinning medication (consult your doctor).

On the day: come with clean, makeup-free skin in the treatment area.
